No. The table layout has some of the "Manual" info spanning both columns, but the text says specifically that the CVT is standard.

Touring XT with Driver Assist Technology package will be probably priced at 32,745+Dest.

Why are the videos live stream only? Why can't I rewind/fast forward!?

Yeah, looking closer, I see that. It's funny, they list a specific curb weight for a manual XT though. I wonder if it was axed late in the game.

electric-folding side rearview mirrors parallel parking assist camera rear seat entertainment headlamp washers Subaru has really improved the content on this US Forester. I'm very surprised they'd do this on the first model year of a full model change. |

Ahhhhhhh, why is it still live stream? I'm missing so many questions. =\ I can't live stream it all the time since I have constant interruptions at work. I'm hoping they make a list public or actually upload the stream to a video so that we can go back and watch the entire thing.

I was thinking the same thing, but then I noticed the chart has a weight for both the 6 speed manual and the CVT under 2.0XT column. Still, this question came up on the Q&A and they specifically said the 6 speed will not be an option.

Also, the spec sheet says XT preferred fuel is 91 (not 93). So, maybe its 250hp with 91, but the car CAN run on 87 if you have to (why would you do that!?). So you 91 oct gains can relax. |

The spec sheet actually says the fuel requirement for the XT is "Premium: 91 AKI min." I wonder why Infante insists that 87 is OK. Either it's ALWAYS been OK to use regular with Subaru turbo engines or else Subaru has made a significant change in how it does knock detection.

HUD with at least the current speed limit and actual traveling speed Heated AND cooled driver and front passenger seats Heated rear seats (Kia does this but I'm surprised Subaru doesn't yet.) Heated and cooled steering wheel Rear air vents with rear passenger control (that blows cold and hot air, not like the Tribeca or Outback.) Live trajectory lines showing actual vehicle travel path depending on how much the steering wheel is turned when using the back-up camera. And... OEM remote engine start with a longer range and a 2-way remote kind of like the Viper systems (but of course watered down is fine as long as it's 2-way). I think I'd be pretty much set with all of that too. The Toyota RAV4 has some new tech features and Nissan still has their all-around view camera feature but for the most part I'd be extremely happy with these additions above. Anything else is something that was already icing on the cake. That's my Christmas list of course, lol. Last edited by A W; 11-28-2012 at 11:43 PM. |

Or maybe that they spec'd it out and are keeping it in the backpocket in case there turns out to be demand. (Wishful thinking, I know, given that it's not available anywhere else either.) |

All of the guys that had a WRX/STI and now have a family with kids could be a market. Sure some will be happy with a CVT. But there are some that would like a 6MT. Question is how big. For now SOA says not big enough. |

Heated rear seats would be nice but would add cost. Heated and cooled steering wheel would be nice, though I could care less about heated. Rear vents would have been nice, but after seeing how long it took them to get them on the Legacy/Outback(limited only at that), I am not holding out hope any time soon. Ooooohhh. I like the idea of trajectory lines. Maybe? The remote engine starter is likely to be the same as the Outback/Legacy/Impreza/Crosstrek being 2 way with the improved distance. |

Any word if the Touring trims still include HIDs? This is a big deal to me.
