Holy cow, I scanned back through this and boy was I green

Trying to find an old OEM injector, that might be rough. I'm assuming you're just wanting to get it running again, no? I'm trying to think of any of the other old school Subie forums that might be of better help. legacycentral.org might be good.

I would suggest sending the injectors off for cleaning and inspection. I know there are numerous companies popping up now that will do that service.

How many miles are on the injectors? I'm guessing it's stuck open, as you'd have washed down your cylinder otherwise...maybe even risk hydro-lock.

From what I'm finding, they're 370cc injectors.

Here's a good read for you: https://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44167

P.S. I would love to find a Legacy SS for cheap.

I'm well aware but I also don't care. This shows that:
1.) the guy was using a forum rather than asking a question to a bunch of hellaflush vapers on Facebook
2.) he actually was searching for an answer and not just starting a new thread.

Welcome from the dead.

Also, did you realize that the last time you posted on here was 2010?!!

-You have a Legacy Touring Wagon same engine/trans as the Sport Sedan.
- You need the pink, 360-370cc - only used - AFAIK - on these from '91-'94. NO JDM equivalents.
- Read up on https://bbs.legacycentral.org/

I should have a couple in my stash or look on the LC site.

Default AHA!! Real Info, from real people!

Now I’m getting somewhere, stuff I didn’t know before (I.E. 360-370cc flow rate) and a link to LC.org forum. As for my my baby (Ol’ Blue) it only has 153k on the clock but that injector, even if it’s stuck open, seems to me it would still show resistance on the ohm meter (?). Guess I’ll fire off a PM to wtdash to see if he does have any ‘pinkos’ in his stash. Thanks Again Folks.

Default Clarification

15. Yes, the T.legacy is the same short block as the infamous 22B impreza. Please don't argue with me on this. I am right. I am positive. End of story.

For starters I think you meant to say famous because if the 22B STI was infamous it wouldn't be as valuable and sought after as it is today. Secondly the 22B STI is powered by the EJ22G engine which uses the phase 2 version of the EJ22 solid block while the EJ22T is a phase 1 block. The biggest difference is that the phase 1 block is center thrust and the phase 2 block is rear thrust. Also the EJ22G doesn't contain oil squirters for the bottom of the pistons like the EJ22T does. I understand why you thought you were right and I'm glad I could help you understand the differences between the two blocks. I personally would never claim that I'm right about something until I'm absolutely certain that I know all of the facts to back it up but that's just me. Great build btw. I'm planning on doing a similar engine upgrade on my car which is already super fast that will include a rear thrust conversion but different heads for better performance.
