Ok found this and am wondering if anyone knows if this would be the same as the EJ20G used in a 1997 SF5 (JDM Forester ST/B) I have been plagued with valve cover gasket leaks since importing it. I have changed both sides using gaskets from an EJ25 kit I had laying around. Totally gooped those with RTV and it lasted about a year but they are leaking again.

The pickup itself or the oring? Just change your oil pan to a 2.5 one and get the killer bee one! That's what I'm gonna do! Oem Subaru dunno the # tho.

/\ This. Some guy on the forums argues with me that there are like 7 different versions for the 97-98 ej25d, every time I give this advice. Also, be sure to use oem on the valve covers. They fit perfectly and seem thicker so they compress tighter and resist leaking.

hey guys, i have a 1999 RHD impreza wrx sti ver 5. i imported it from japan last year adn yesterday my clutch went! i have been trying to look for one around where i live in canada but i cant find one. i am looking for an exedy organic stage 1 kit, my issues however have been not being able to find one specifically made for MY car! i can only find ones for the impreza outback l 2.2L or the impreza rs 2.5L. I have a V2 STI engine and I changed the flywheel and used a clutch for EJ205 the clutch fork rubbed the pressure plate a little so I just ground the for a bit where it rubbed and it has worked fine.

Is there any part number for an entire gasket and seal kit that would fit the EJ20K?

I'd like to change every single one, but I already have the MLS STI head gaskets waiting to go in, so at least those are not a worry. Is there a kit where I could get everything else required however or do I need to buy them individually?

I had to get the entire oem ej25d kit and sell the headgaskets that came with it because I had to buy the jdm mls ej20k headgaskets separate.

I have an EJ20R JDM motor in my Porsche 914 (I think). Is there an easy way to determine what motor it is? There is a 6 digit numeric code (980650) under the intercooler, does that mean anything? The motor is an EJ20 and it does have twin turbos and the valve covers have "4 cam 16 valve" on them. My real needs are my water pump isn't working, so I need to replace it and the timing belt. I was hoping to get a kit, but I don't know what will fit/work on the motor. Any help would really be appreciated!

So is it 13270aa061 or 13270aa081? They are both listed for 97' ej25d depending on early or later in the year. I'm trying to get some for my 97' ej20k and dont know which ones to order. Did the Ks get the same end of year change as well?

I have 97 ej20k heads and the large gaskets separate are 13270AA085 and 13272AA082. I have them for backup next time I need to pull the covers. Not sure of the part number of the total kit

-just did a quick search from an ebay subaru parts seller-

The 13270aa081 has both of the gaskets I have and the oval type spark plug hole gaskets look the same. The kit you don't want has the square type spark plug hole gaskets.

Thank you, I already have the spark plug gaskets, but somehow forgot to order the large gaskets.

I started this project years ago and just now picked it back up. as I try to piece this old engine back together I'm finding a lot of little things missing. It's kind of a pain, but the engine itself is in pristine condition otherwise so I'm moving forward.
