Friend makes inappropriate comments - Should I be upset?

You've all seen threads with pictures of my girlfriend so search if you need to.

I have a friend who I've known for about 1-2 years. He's always been 'that guy'. Examples - His softball team number is a self-picked 69, he makes rude comments about his sexual experience with females (none of them attractive) and has always creeped out girls that I knew.

But he's been a good friend to me so I always just said, 'You just gotta know him, he's a good kid.' in his defense if any girls I knew said he was annoying and obnoxious.

Lately, he's been saying rude sexual comments to my girlfriend, IMing her and in person. She's very uncomfortable with it, so I asked him to please stop.

In so many words, he told me that he wouldn't stop making those types of comments because 'that's who he is' and it didn't matter if she and I were not comfortable with it.

So, I flipped. This is over the line. It's one thing to make rude comments, but when you're asked to stop - you just stop. He clearly has no respect for my decision and that is what really pisses me off.

When he still refused to apologize and would not agree to not make comments anymore, I told him that if I heard about any other comments being made that there will be consequences.

OT, I know that I'm right here, but I need some confirmation that I'm not just being a douche. If you need pics of the friend in question I can provide.

Clearly you need to ttiwop said girlfriend and then give us her s/n for OT to make rude sexual comments to her over said internet.

Be glad you're not like a guy I knew. His neighbor across the street would give his wife the skin flute show through the windows and sometimes around the corner of the garage. He had to go confront the dude about it and ended up moving partially because of it.

I think it is funny that you would tell people that said he was a douche that they just didn't know him when he made inconsiderate remarks to them, but now that it is happening to you you get all huffy. Clearly the other people knew him better than you did all along.

Drop is ass and get a new friend. He should respect your wishes, which he clearly doesn't.

I think that's another part of why I'm so pissed. I really thought he was a good friend, and clearly I haven't been seeing him for who he is.
