wow well my ac compressor is weak on my 09 Wrx so it blows cold when it wants

I take it you just can't fix that it needs to be replaced???

Yes, if it is the compressor... I'd suggest getting a proper diagnosis first before spending a bunch of money on a compressor

i know this is late but turned out to be the condensor and evaporater, gillman is doing the work under warranty
