Yellow, Sonic Yellow...

Default Recommendations for a tint / Clearshield service in the DC Metro area?

Hiya folks,

I just got an '03 WRX in Sonic Yellow! I've been monitoring this site for the last 9 months, and the information has been great. I came from the Porsche boards, but y'all seem to be much more fun and less anal retentive

Anyway, can anyone recommend a service or shop that does a good window tint job? I also want to do the 3M Stoneguard or Clearshield paint protector on the front.

Thanks!
Lenn

If you are in the Rockville area, do go to Details, Details, Details, Inc.. they are right off from the intersection at E. Gude Drive and Rockville Pike.. best job I have ever got tints from...

I think they can do the clearshield stuff, not too sure tho.. but it would take them the whole day for your car.

Hey there M!

Yeah, that WAS me at Spokes bike! I was really impressed with your ride that time. I've been eyeing a WRX for a long time, and finally decided to part with the P-car. I love that ride, but it was major scratch to keep it up and running.

I got the Sonic Yellow '03, and it's awesome...I spend my free time dreaming of what I want to do to it...

Are you still in the area, or down at school now?

Either way, good luck @ Tech!!!

Pop me an email when you get into town...

Cheers,
Lenn

BTW: I ended up with a Colnago C40

colnago is a good bike, hope you like it and i hope nobody on the bike path is an idiot around you. Those things are $$$$$.

I'm at school right now and am thinking about doing this 7 mile climb. It sounds pretty nasty but i really want to do it. i'll post if i actually race in it.

I'll be back around the 27th. Hit me up with an email, the adress is [email protected]

I'm really happy you got a wrx and i think you will too. Especially because it is yellow. I put the stock wheels on the wrx for the winter season so it looks completely stock. Wave and i'm sure whoever is driving it will wave right back. We're really good at spotting scoobies.

p.s. I got an 87 turbo II now and the wrx still is modded out.
