Just ordered my harness from the alternate source that Joe used. Compete harness for $49. Pm Joe for details. I'm glad I did.

Just an update on satellite radio. If you don't plug in a satellite antenna you will get a warning message "check antenna" each time you turn on the head unit.
The closest adapter I've found is this:-

Fakra "Z" Plug male to HRS GT5-1S

It will require a sharp knife to cut the plastic ends a little as neither connector is a prefect fit, but they are both VERY VERY close. Round end is too deep, so you need to cut it back, the square end has one extra tab/corner that you just need to shave off.

You still need a real satellite antenna that you plug into the adapter. If you use a Sirius antenna it will work perfectly for audio, but the "now playing" song information will be missing and you will still get the "check antenna" warning message. If you use an XM antenna it will all work correctly and you will NOT get the warning message.
I always thought the Sirius and XM antennas were identical these days, but they are not.

Do I need to find an xm antenna with the pink connector or any standard xm antenna?

Would this work?

Interior Glass Mount XM Radio Antenna with Pink FAKRA:Amazon:Car Electronics
The pink XM antennas are the old ones. They will probably work with the HU, but will not fit the adapter cable I posted. You want an antenna with the new style end (open silver plug) like this http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Magnetic-Satellite-Radio-Antenna/dp/B0079T93YY
I used the XM branded mini antenna.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/XM-Satellite...item54078828ac

Both my round and square Sirius branded antennas worked, but gave the check antenna warning.

Looks like a better option that the one I posted, as you'll only need to shave 1 end.

You could follow the instructions in this thread to make your own or print all the info and take the instructions to a professional car audio installer in your area.

Most parts to assemble your own are originally made in China, so you should be able to source the parts online.

As mauldin said, it's really easy to make your own, but this place also seem to be making them. (by email request only).

In my opinion this HU sound night and day better. Just waiting on the XM antena adapter and USB adapter that goes into the Fujitsu side to make it truly 100%. I'm confident the USB will connect right up and the XM will work. Crazy how easy the install went. I didn't have to add any wires or solder/crimp/cut into anything.

Via Bluetooth my iPhone 6 synced up and downloaded my phone book into the HU. OEM microphone, SWC, etc all worked.

Might be a good deal if the bids don't get to high. BRZ Nav HU with all parts needed to install. Not mine. Just browsing ebay and saw it.

Used to Navigation on the way to work while streaming Bluetooth audio. Worked perfect. Not sure where all the complaints about the OEM Nav (around the web) is coming from.
