Default proper removal/installation of STI side splitters?

The section with the long vertical bracket, how are you supposed to properly remove and reinstall that? (tab in top, 3 clips that lock into the holes on the splitter rear side)

i'm talking about a car already equipped with them, the rear brackets are real weird...
