Default I have these two tune maps, trying to figure which is which

I just bought a 2013 Sti off a guy. It has a cobb intake and catback exhaust as well as an Accessport with two tune maps on it. One of the maps says it's at 18.5 psi. The other one is a custom stage 1 map for a cobb intake and cat back. One of the maps is a 330whp map and the other is 290whp, but I don't know which is which. Would 18.5psi produce 330whp with those mods?

Sounds like one is significantly faster than the other. Flash, take a pull, repeat. Judge which is faster.

That is terrible advice.

Full stop.

I wouldn't flash any maps that you don't know the origin of. Those power number are excessive to say the least given those mods. Confirm with the original owner what is on it now and where it came from. If he is unsure, download a Cobb Stage 1 with a Cobb SF intake selected and run that. Then get a Pro Tune. You can mess things up really bad, be smart.

Really, OP, talk to who you bought it from. They're the only ones who really know.

On a high reading dyno, 330wp isnt unreasonable. Especially if hes just being told this by the guy who sold him the car.

Why are you assuming the custom tune for his car is unsafe and going to do damage? It stands more to reason if he has a custom tune for his car that is going to be best. He never mentioned any issues or problems with anything, just wanted to know what was faster.

Why would he assume it is safe? Do you assumes she on birth control? He needs to get the info from the last owner. Fin

I was able to get in contact with the seller and he confirmed which tune was 330whp. Issue resolved.
