Talking Bear Paw Cone Slaying Extravaganza - Sunday, July 16th

Jason Renn, Event Chairman of the Cone Slaying Extravaganza Solo II--now to be know as "Dentdude of the Pylon Kingdom" for Sunday, July 16th--invites you to forget the dragons and come slay some cones during the Bear Paw Festival! More details may follow, yet lunch - for those who pre-register - will be "Ye Ol Pizza."

Sunday, July 16th Schedule
08:00-09:00AM Registration "Officially" Opens
08:00-09:30AM Tech Inspection Continues
09:30AM Novice Walk-Thru with Novice Training Program -- this is open to ALL Competitors
09:45AM Safety Briefing with Solo II Safety Steward Program -- this is a MANDATORY attendance for all competitors. While you're welcomed to attend this presentation at every event, the Region only requires your attendance at your first Solo II each season. You'll learn about your responsibilities while at an event and while working corners, cone displacements, radio calls and other safety matters occuring at Solo II events.
10:10AM Driver Meeting -- a welcome by the Event Chair and SCCA Board of Directors. The first car on course will take place as soon as workers are on course and Competitors are on grid.

The Region has moved to dlbracing.com as an online registration and we are promoting, pushing, and pleading with you--please pre-register for events this summer. It helps the Event Chairman plan his event and helps Registration and Timing & Scoring too! You may pay online via paypal OR you can pre-register and pay at the event. We do ask that you call the Region office at 243-2122 to register your season competition number before going to dlbracing. For those without an SCCA membership card, you will start with 200 numbers. Region members may choose a competition number between 2-99 that is not already reserved.

Registration will be maintaining two lines this year: I registered so I'm here to sign the waiver, be scanned for the event, and head to tech and the second line will be for those who did not pre-register online. Oh, another reason to pre-register online--lunch, which is provided for COMPETITORS and Region workers, will only be provided for those pre-registered competitors this year!

Entry fees for the Cone Slaying Extravaganza Solo II:
SCCA Members $30
Non-Members $40

Details for event:
-- Lunch provided for those Competitors who have pre-registered at dlbracing.
-- Helmets. Please confirm that your helmet is within the Snell ratings for this year--1995 or newer--this is a change from last year!!
-- Minor waivers. If you are a competitor under 18 or will be having friends/family that fall into this category, please remember that we need both parents signatures (options are there for one parent) for under 18 years of age individuals.

For more information, please contact the Region office at 243-2122.

Event Location: Bartlett High School.

(I just copied and pasted from Alaskascca.com, because this is less than a week away. If there are any changes, I'll update this post.)
