Default 2013 Tribeca Confirmed

Looks like sales haves been strong enough for another year of the Tribeca. If your the Driver or Front passenger there are few better places to be. The Sounds system for a factory unit is great, the dash is elegant and the seats supportive for the long run.

Pre-Owned Tribeca are still one of our top movers as they are all of the above and handle very well.

Welcome back Tribeca!

Glad to hear that, still love our '07
Now, SOA, put the flat 4 diesel in there or I'll have to get an X5 next time around!

Do 06's still sell well?

Looking to get rid of mine soon.

I've really enjoyed my '07. Great all-around vehicle. I've got my eye on the '13 Outback tho'.

I've really enjoyed my '07 too, but I'd really like something to upgrade into when mine finally dies. I'd even be happy if it morphed into something more minivan-like. It doesn't need to be a lot bigger, just enough to provide usable legroom in all three rows at the same time, and decent cargo capacity with all the seats up, and better towing, and... ah, forget it. I'll buy an RV instead.

Great family hauler (2 adults, 3 kids), not so good MPG. For a full tank, we're averaging around 255 miles. But MPG aside, our '12 Tribeca is comfy for road trips, sound system is great, and the kids love the rear seat entertainment system.

I'd say it's the best looking of all the small 7 passenger SUVs (CX-9, MDX, Journey, Pilot) but is a bit sluggish. I've heard good things about the CX-9 in the handling/fun factor.

It's only been 8 months/11k miles, but so far so good.

Default Tribeca

Man, I really need one of these for my family.

I could use a third row seat and don't want a monster of a vehicle. I am also a fan of subaru. Problem is finding one for $11 or $12 k

Most people don't part with what they have. The supply and demand on these makes it difficult to become an owner.

Cool wish it was true..

I have had my 08 from new. 47,000 miles on it.

Seats are dreadful. The leather is treated and yet still cracking.
They have little support. No bolster no leg support.

Driving it is well boring. Good you might think but it becomes hard work with no feed back to stay awake. Brake pedal is way way too squishy. I replaced the brakes and rotors to no avail. The gas pedal is stiff but very little travel is needed to get the most out of it. Steering is way way to light for highway driving. All leads to you being tired way to easy.

Sound system is just bland. No base no middle and just two flat for any entertainment.

Dash is cheap plastic vents that do nothing (replaced in 2011) Cheap silver plastics. The plastic center console doesn't even reach the carpet. The Arm rest lifts in summer heat. The door panels are made of a mild petroleum rubber that you can't touch with sun tan lotion or it wrinkles and bubbles.

Too much plastic in the cargo area not to look a wreak should you put anything in it that might touch it.

on a whole they car has to much cheap plastic surface for a family used car.

We are about to turn 100K over on our 06. I tried to get my wife to trade it in on maybe a new Outback but she won't part with it. We've had very good luck, only issue was the clunking from the front swaybar bushings which I fixed myself. Pretty simple. I do agree about the plastic in the cargo area, not sure what they were thinking. I've managed to protect it fairly well over the years but lately my wife has to carpool kids to School with other families since they stopped the bus service. She uses the third row quite a bit now and the kids aren't very friendly to the interior. The cargo area has suffered the most with scratches in the plastic.

Still in all it's been pretty good to us, we've taken a fair amount of long trips and it does well on the highway. I've had 10 scoobies now and I have to say this one is among the best in the snow. Could be the weight, I expected the opposite with those huge tires, go figure.

My plan in a year or so is to trade in the Tribeca and Miata for a BRZ and give the wife my Legacy We'll see how that goes over...

I have over 125,000 miles on my '07, and have really enjoyed the vehicle. It'll be sad if 2013 is the last year. I'll have to pick one up when my '07 dies.

Heard from a very good source that the Tribeca will be around in 2014 the same as it is now.

Joint venture with Toyota will not produce new model until '15 or later.
