Exclamation Awesome dream last night!!!!!! So freaking strange!

Yes.... another thread by me.

Ok. In real life, yesterday I put up a big Ron Paul sign on my garage in my alley. So that leaked into real life.

I dream that it's about 5:00am and I wake up to noise outside. I see a teenage boy walking around in my yard looking in my window. I immediately unlock the gun safe and load the shotgun, and put it back in the closet.
He then wanders to my garage and tried to pull off the Ron Paul sign in the alley. Gives up after a few seconds, and is just screwing around in my alley with my stuff.
So I go outside and walk down the edge of my yard where he can't see me. I then come out and ask him "What the hell are you doing"?
He tells me to "EFF OFF", and starts walking down the alley. I follow him at a distance telling him to leave my crap alone and stay away from my house in the middle of the night.
He again tells me to "Eff off".
I keep following him about 2 blocks, and don't have my cell phone but am trying to think of how I could call the cops. This kid then walks up into a yard (his house). I come to his sidewalk. HE then pulls a pistol out of his pocket and charges at me telling me to get my ass on the ground!
I do as I'm told and he then instructs me to get in the house.
As I'm going into his house I see him pointing the gun at me, but looking behind him quickly to see if he's being watched by anyone. While he takes a glance I grab the gun and aim it away from me. I struggle for it and pound at his wrists with my other hand to get the gun free.
I then pull the kid into the house and tell him to get on the ground. I crab a phone and call the police and explain the situation, and that I'm holding my assailant at gunpoint in his own home. They dispatch someone.
Just then, this kid's dad comes out of his bedroom with what I could clearly tell was an "H&K USP .45". He tells me to drop my gun. I aim it at his chest. He keeps telling me to put it down. The gun I have collected from this kid was like.... some sort of 9mm. I am at a standoff with this guy. He tells me again to drop the gun or he will shoot me. His kid grabs my leg and starts punching me in the groin and the kneecaps. I can not focus on the father, and am forced to drop my aim on him. I'm comprimised. They both wrestle the gun out of my hands and drag me into a bedroom.
I'm on the floor bloody and hurting bad. The dad now has the .45 and the 9mm. He puts the 9mm on his dresser and the .45 in a holster on his hip.
He says "Now you're in for some trouble, boy". He turns around and gets into a locked cabinet. He's fumbling with keys, and I'm able to jump up and grab a revolver I just discovered on his bed. The guy turns around and says "don't even try it". I plug him in the chest 3 times, and miss him over the shoulder 2 times. We're like 8 feet apart from eachother.
There's one round left. Now that he's a little bit disabled I decide I want to use the last round to shoot him in the head and end this. I walk closer to about 5 feet and aim it at his face and pull the trigger. The round does not fire. Faulty ammo.
The guy just starts laughing while he's bleeding there and says "Well.... if it's over for me, it's over for you too." HE then pulls these metal balls out of his pocket. Like 30 of them. Little ball bearing looking things about as round as dimes (but spheres).
He tosses them accross the room and scatters them. They start breaking. They're thin like egg shells. They start emitting a very strong gas smell.
He pulls the 45 out of his pocket, and I pistol whip him in the face. HE drops the gun and just starts laughing. Pulls out a lighter and flicks it. I'm running for the door. I see him ignite the gas in the air. I just barely get out of the door and a huge jet of flames follows me out. Lights my back on fire. I roll in the yard to get it out. Just then I see police cars coming down the street and a firetruck! I signal them and they come and start working on the fire.
The son comes out of the garage and tells me that he's going to kill me for what I did to his dad. He then disapears into a neighbors yard or something.
At this point in my dream I actually think it's real life. And in my dream I remember saying "Was that all a dream or did that just happen"?
I deal with a little stress from just having to kill a guy. Wierd
So then it's like a week later. I wander down buy that house again. I see the garage open. I see the kid just driving off in a car but leaves the garage open.
I walk into the garage and see an uzi a handgun and a rifle on the workbench, with some tactical gear and some bombmaking supplies. I fealt very uneasy and went home to load both shotguns and hide them in different closets, and make sure I had access to the handgun at night.

Then I sort of woke up.

So wierd!!!!! Most action packed dream in my life.
Also, in a lot of my dreams, I DIE! IF I'm fighting someone I can't hit them or my arms go limp. I've never been able to defend myself in a dream.
This dream was soooooo intense and strange.

Word. I had a dream two nights ago where I was walking down some random street, and this hot Russian girl is getting groceries out of her car. She smiles at me, I offer to help her and then bring the bags into her house. She starts rubbing my back, something hot is going to happen. But then, this cold, steely Russian guy walks down the stairs, and as he approaches it's clear that he's a zombie. I try to flee, but it's like my feet are partially glued to the floor, and my muscles just won't respond. Somehow I did manage to get away at the last second, but only via a sudden transition in the dream where I'm suddenly running through sewers, armed with an M-16, being chased by the Russian zombie.

Hmm I usually get shot in mine, been shot in the chest, back, leg, and once in the back of my head.

Each time I feel like I am dying, and the head shot dream I woke up with blood in my mouth (musta bit myself or something?).

But Im glad I am not the only one who has these types of dreams. Although mine also include running but having no leg stamina

^ yeah. I've been shot MANY times in my dreams. Can feel the warm blood leaking down my face as I slowly fade into the darkness of death. Hate those dreams.

This dream was truly unlike any other dream I've had in my life. No parallels at ALL!

I have this recurring theme in my dreams where I am trying to run, but my legs are completely limp. So I have to hoist myself with both arms (kinda like the guy in Shallow Hal) and run using both hands. Except, it's not really running, it's more like I'm using both arms in unison to push myself up and forward, almost the way a rabbit hops around using it's rear legs. Weird.

Dear god, there are few things in life as tedious as other people telling you their dreams.

that\'s awesome, sounds fun. dreaming is a very cool function of the human mind. i too from time to time have very lucid real feeling dreams. the last one i can recall right now, was me riding along in the passenger seat with my mom driving for whatever reason, and then pissing off some american gladiator type fellow, who eventually brought me my dog on a huge ass chain link leash.

it means either a) your subconscious is aware that Ron Pauls economic ideas will only increase the burden the youth will have to carry, and trying to tell youthis. or b) you are gay, symbolized by you trying to 'shoot' another man with your 'penis' in the form of the gun.

This is a dream about feeling secure; you don't feel very secure. You have a kind of "secure zone" for yourself, but **** keeps making you leave it, and then once you are outside of your secure zone, people try to rape you in the groin. You keep fighting crap but the situation just seems to mutate further and the danger gets more and more slippery, which makes you go further and further away from your secure zone to deal with it.

See first you are in your house. And a kid comes onto your property (not as secure as your house, but still part of your zone.) And he trespasses. it's not a big deal what he does, and you make him leave.

BUT THEN YOU FOLLOW HIM OFF YOUR PROPERTY. (less secure than your property.)

He tells you to **** off but doesn't threaten you seriously. Then you follow him onto HIS property (less secure than in the open.)

He threatens you with the gun and you take it from him, but you wind up inside of his house (less secure than in his yard.) Where you have to deal with his Dad.

They team up on you and take you further in the house, etc etc etc

And it winds up with you venturing into the kid's garage again and finding threatening stuff there.

What this all means is the opposite of what you think it does of course. The threats are actually opportunities, and you are realizing that you are going to have to step outside of your "secure zone" to find them. In fact you've worked it out that the more of an opportunity you are after, the further into danger you need to go to get it.

Whatever it is, man, don't be scared. Man up and plunge into the darkness. It'll kill you or it'll make you stronger.

Ever been in the middle of a cool dream, wake up by accident, then try to quickly fall asleep again and grasp where you left off in your dream only to fail?

yeah I hate when that happens too
