the crx was an hf. which meant high fuel. it came stock with an 8 valve single over head cam motor with somewhere around 60 hp. the zc motor has 130 and dyno's in the 115-118 wheel hp range. the motor responds to bolt-ons rather well. you can get 135-150 wheel hp with all of the bolt ons and some good tuning. my friend has a built turbo zc in his 90 civic dx pulling around 400 wheel hp. as for the crash... well, stupid to say... when i was 17 back in 99 i crashed it street racing. at the end the 3rd gear some guy pulled out of the side and decided to u turn, then i crashed right into the side of him. the car i was racing was lucky to be slow because he would have crashed too. supposidly mtv will be doing a story on it

My 98 Maxima SE unfortunetely ended up similar to your CRX, but I shouldnt have been so lucky, getting t-boned at 60 by an Explorer

No fortunetely I walked away with no injuries whatsoever, ONLY because I WASNT wearing my seatbelt. If I was it would have held me there and squished me, but instead it pushed me over into the passenger seat, the crazy thing was my mother came to pick me up and on the way to the hospital in her 94 maxima someone t-boned us on the passenger side where i was sitting and still I was uninjured, very very sore but nothing broken no bleeding

PS if you look in the seccond pic I poseted you can see a reflection of her white maxima on the rear quarter panel

Default 1979 Lancia Beta 2000 Coupe

1979 Lancia Beta 2000 Coupe... all the smog stuff was taken off and it had a full Anza exhaust. The Fiat dual overhead cam engine produced around 135hp... disk brakes all around. Pretty advanced car for the time. Won a few rallys in the '70's. Solid body, doors closed with a "thunk!" Very plush leather interior... rare as all hell... surprizingly it was very reliable... owned it as a daily driver for about 3 years... and it never broke down! I had a VW Scirocco before and an Alfa Romeo Alfetta Sedan after... the Lancia was my favorite!

That Caddy is Beautiful. Looks like it floats down the road but a very nice classic.

My first car affectionately called the beast. '84 Grand Wagoneer, 360 V8, minor mods, no exhaust (ripped it off in a mud hole ).

My second car, first Subie. '93 Legacy.

I miss that Jeep. It was soooooo much fun (when it ran).

'85 tercel SR5 4x4. Unfortunately someone turned left in to me and wrecked it two days after I ordered my 2003 WRX wagon.
That tercel had a hard life but it never let me down.

How did the old rex compare with your new rex?

I've heard rx-7's are one of the best handling cars ever made. Near 50/50

one of the few cars under 100,000 dollars that I haven't driven,

so how would you compare it to the WRX?
