Dead thread... but in case anyone is still trying to get this to work... I got the trial and got it working pretty quickly. I just installed an AEM UEGO and picked up a second Serial-USB adapter and will test that tomorrow.
However, based on the lack of updates in this thread or on the website, I'm guessing it's not supported anymore and will be looking at the UTEC Interface (UTI) instead which has been updated this year.

I got this to work with my UTEC but it's having problems with my AEM UEGO. It works for several seconds, then craps out and gets stuck on the last reading. The rest of the UTEC info continues to updates correctly, it's just the AFR that stops. If I disconnect and reconnect, it does not work. I have to close out and re-load it, but then it will freeze again after a minute, making the AFR logging useless. I tried logging in directly to the UTEC and UEGO using PUTTY (I'm on Vista which has no HyperTerminal) and those seem to work fine, I'm not getting strange AFR values or anything.
I'm going to check out UTI as soon as some PayPal funds clear and see if that works any better. |

Ok, it seems the problem was with my computer. I was using my work computer, an HP Elitebook 6930p running Vista.
I just switched to an old VAIO I got from my mom running XP with USB 1.1 drivers (couldn't get USB2.0 drivers to work after reinstalling XP) and both the UTEC and UEGO work fine with this setup. Also, i found an USB-to-Dual Serial Port cable from Fry's so I can hook both devices up to a single USB port. |

I can't seem to get the logger to work. Im running the utec with LC-1 and its says there is a error if I have both plugged in and if im trying to just log the utec it trys to connect but then doesnt show anything?
And I seem to be having a problem with the utec communicating with the TPS and MAP? I found a link to a explanation but the link doesnt work for me. http://www.burago.com/wrx/Files/WRX-...er%20Guide.pdf Last edited by Garrek11; 10-05-2011 at 09:11 PM. |

Just the logger doesn't work? or you can't even get connected with both? does the UTEC and LC1 both connect fine on their own (use hyperterminal or putty). What is the error? I've seen that pdf many times, i'm sure there are other copies on other sites.

Hyperterminal works with utec
LC-1 connects to its own software So they both will connect seperatly to there own. But neither of them will connect in the logger. Except sometimes I can get the utec to connect but then it seems to just freez before it can do anything. |

Hmmm... I don't know. You're using two separate serial ports and cables? I would say check that the connection/protocol settings for both are correct in UTECLogger, but I haven't used an LC1 so I probably can't help you much...
