You'd be better served over on the romraider forums.

This might be a bad question. But why is everyone going for the older versions of access tuner race ?

Up until the green speed update 6 months ago was there an issue with the software ?

Also does this older software work with older access ports ? Eg V3

Cobb put a timebomb in the 3.x versions of AT that disable the ability to toggle DTCs after a certain date. You can still roll your system date back prior to that time and save the maps successfully, but I'm sure they'll eventually take that out as well.

Older ATR is unaffected, you just have to have a working license file and copy of ATR for your ECU/etc...

AT/ATR are independent of accessport manager, and the map files are fully compatible with the AP v3

Default sooo

sooo who’s the “go to” to get atr for a 2016 MT wrx?

i’m currently tuned, no codes all legal “ old stage 2 catted”, iag block.

i’ve since had my turbo replaced and somehow my access port shorted the same week…. sent it back to cobb and ended up getting a whole new unit ( to my horror) updated to v3.

now my old map runs like crap… 18mpg, peaks at 15psi and stalls off the line ( zero torque) i go to my tuner for the updated calibration and now that triggers all the green speed bullshat. we figured he can real-time flash my car and it runs great but if the ecu loses power im back at square one… gotta travel hours to my tuner for him to flash a file on in 5 minutes. anyone got a link to atr or better way of doing this?

Highly unlikely you'll find a pre-greenspeed version of ATR for a 2016 WRX. All that's left to do is shell out money for emissions-compliant parts/tune and thank the EPA for ruining your hobby.

Um no, theres lots of options. Cobb has done us all a favor by dismantling the monolith by themselves with the use of bizarre messaging akin to some major brands that i cnat be bothered to mention. Cough annie are you ok weiser bush. Coguh cough.

Look into:
1. OS (open source)
2. Tuners that have not updated their scam tuner product
3. Standalone, but depends on if you still need emissions obd output, could get a little complicated here.

Lots of options, you purchased the car, you can do what you want with it.

Good for the enviro socials.

Default 13 WRX with various codes from former tune

I paid to have my car tuned by IAG back before Green Tune was a thing. I now have a few CEL's that are popping up now due to it being tuned. Does anyone know how I can get them turned off? The car works fine I just need to ship the car and no one will ship it with a CEL on.

TGV deletes, being one that I can think of right now but all of them are because my car has been modified.

My hope is that someone has a working copy of ATR that I can use to do it myself. I tried taking it to a tuner and all of them are on the Green Tune and can't help me unless I am willing to pay for them to de-tune my car...

So I have been reading through this, not the entire thing, but a some of it and I didn't see this question. So I have a few maps that I have tuned already with the earlier version of ATR where I have taken out my air pump and did tgv deletes and so on, and I have also turned off the coinciding trouble codes that go along with these changes. I am currently in contact with cobb trying to get the version of ATR because I have lost the ability to use the old version due to my laptop going bad. My question is, will I still be able to adjust things that are not emission related to update my tune without having the new software turn on all the other things that were chganged and saved already? Anyone here have any issues with anything like this?

You can flash old maps. You can’t make any changes to maps. Once you open the maps it will warn you about bypasses and enable them.
