Mmmmmm. If they fit 04 STi's I'm game. I have Brembos. Do I have to put Gimmick on a magnet at the events?

I should have known anyway, considering the lovely pics of Matteucci's DSP BMW with the sawzall job from the Atlanta Tour. Karen |

Might end up going to esp sometime soon so I thought I would post this in here from a racers perspective.
What kind of transmission fluid are you guys running? I need to replace mine and was wondering what wrx autoxers are using? What about the stock rear diff too? (assuming you didn't replace the diff) |

Scotty's Cocktail was in my '06 trans. When I had straight Motul something or other fluid it was better than stock, but way worse than the cocktail.

I've tried the cocktail and it was fine, but it's received a lot of jeers lately so just to be safe, I've switched to 100% Redline Shockproof LW. Now shifting is a little more notchy when it's cold, but it's still better than stock, especially when trying to grab 1st for a hairpin.
The rear diff isn't picky like the tranny. Just throw in some inexpensive synthetic 75w-90. I used Mobil-1 synthetic. I'm going to try either Amsoil Sevear Gear or Motul Gear 300 next change. |

Im going to try my hand at the camaro sunday for the first time.
Only managed to get the wheels, tires, panhard, Vette front brakes, lower rear control arms, stainless lines, cat-back, sway bars, rear pads, Intake, AGX's and springs on this week so I hope I do OK. I have never auto-xed a RWD before so it should be an adventure. I decided to go SM with it. I like the fact that there are an assload of people in it and most of them enjoy modding cars so the classes aren't as big a deal. 315's on the back and 285's on the front. I cant wait |

So the 18x9.5s came in last night, mounted them with the 285/30/18 v710s. Got an event this weekend so I've got a question for those that run this combo..
What's a good starting point for tire pressure on the 285/30/18 v710? I've been running hoosiers for the past 2yrs and I know the kumhos like more than the A6s, so, anyone got a good starting pressure? |
