Greg, I thought there was some tomfoolery with the oil pan needed to run the low mount manifold along with a different subframe. I haven't looked into it for a while since my initial design used what I already have. I'm sure you could get around it though.

Even their 5 speed offerings are pricey! I just found a deal I couldn't pass up.

Greg, do you already have the LGT manifold and turbo? I'd be curious what the clearances would be as well. And it looks like there is some kind of turbo mount/brace on the LGT subframe. Turbo -> IC piping could be interesting, but nothing that couldn't be figured out.

Low mount is for the FP car. You can do a lot to the sub frame. Headers will be one off, etc. Radiator in trunk yada yada

If I wanted to play with low mount for ASP (which I don't really) I would do the whole conversion (unknown probability) and then consider low mount inter-cooler (small) in front of the radiator. Small alternator for reverse manifold/piping and such. I don't like all the piping associated with their set up.

See I'm already mixing all the threads into one!

I didn't take you for a fishbowl drink kinda guy.

For FP, totally. If I went to *P I'd do roughly the same setup, but likely run a half size radiator up front with the turbo off to the side slightly. If you're trailering the FP car I'd actually just skip the alternator all together and run a big battery in the trunk for weight distro/ballast.

Because the amount of questions from people who don't know how to fabricate would kill it instantly

SP is the place for people who like to do zero to minor fabrication and can use a wrench.

SM is the place for people who like to do moderate to major fabrication and can use a lathe.

P is the place for people who like to redesign stuff in CAD, fabricate it, and cut major parts out of the car to make it work. While being drunk.

This is not the answer you're looking for: It's spelled out in the rule book pretty clearly. You really should spend time reading section 15 multiple times. After you're familiar with it, you'll understand stuff more and be able to see what is legal.

I'm assuming this won't fit GD's in SP because it looks well above the shock towers but who know's? Interesting because you could use with either turbo style while using a plastic manifold. 08+ guys here you go

So you got to witness our "holy **** what have I done" driving

The car is a new animal compared to ESP, and I'm missing the car in that trim. I'm sure the miata is much lighter on the wallet though!

My Sundays have officially gone to ****, so the next Philly event I'll make will most likely be at Wells Fargo on 6/20. If you're there, I'll have to find the miata and say hello.

Ok, I was just making sure it was the same car. I didn't think there'd be more than one WRB WRX wagon in FP...running #61/161....

The next event you'd probably catch me at is the Toledo Pro. STPR has me scrambling to get the rally car in fighting shape.

Awesome! I guess I have kinda... Dropped my 60's a tenth with a vf52 and started snapping rear axles..the original ones that came on the car finally went haha. At the El Toro pro I snapped 5 axles total (4 rear, 1 front) and a set of transfer gears in 6 runs

So I got Some driveshaft shop axles, a set of ppg transfer gears ( I had a albins helical box sitting in the garage), and am headed to SM while I build the 2 door for FP.

My wallet gonna hurt!

Good Luck with the wagon! Looks like a good time
