Awesome looking ride Patrick! How do you stack up PAX-wise against the local hotshoes? Are you going to go to the Pro Finale & Solo Nationals in '07?

Well local event are farely easy to get top pax. I haven't been too a Divisional yet. Last weekend I was in KC for a Subaru Challenge and took top pax and FTD.
I'll be at Nationals but not the Finale as I have not run at any Pros this year.

Oh DSP. Those were the good old days. I'll have to dig around and find a picture or two of my old RS. I've seen three 2.5RSs driving around lately and it made me really miss my old one. As much as I like my Outback it can't really compare to how much fun the old subie was.

Great looking car, looks like fun.

Car's looking great Pat! Can't wait to drive it!

How do you like the new wheel and tire setup? How's the gearing? It looks a whole lot lower btw.

 I love DSP 2.5 RS's. The fact hoosier came out with those tire sizes makes things a LOT more interesting.

Ours is still on stands awaiting a diagnosis on the front diff noise. I've been focusing on FSP lately and don't yet know what car I'll be in come Sept.....

The RS is looking awesome, Pat! Take it to 'em!!!!! My conversations with an E30 driver on 275s was not nearly as good as the conversation I had with you this afternoon! Keep this up and our CCW's might go up for sale!

Well I might have some in mind already who drove it last weekend. Also I will probably have a DSPL driver for Nats this year.

Also the person I thank mostly for getting Hoosier to build that tire is mostly likely Craig Wilcox. G Stock champ last year. He is the one that helped me get one of the first sets when they were finish. Only problem was that F***ing Diamond Racing too 2 months to get me a set of wheels. I ordered them 3 Mondays before WalnutRidge and I just got them last week.

If I had the $$$ I would jump in the DSP ring and play

But until then, I am stuck in STS locally.....I know better than to even try STS at Nats. Stupid Civics!!!!!!

Car looks awesome!

That is a crazy wheel and tire size! That would be a 10% gearing reduction for me.

I think those tires should make a huge difference for the DSP Impreza.

Car looks great!

The internet says those 275's are much shorter than the factory 205's. How's the gearing work out on course with them and the 7000 redline?

I wish there were more choices in a 275+ 16 inch tire. Those wheels are dirt cheap for 16x10 5x100! It looks like Hoosier is the only player in town.

I can't speak for the 275's, however we used to run the 245/40/15's that were the same OD as those 275's. We were running a Hydra with 7,400 limiter and the car was stupid fast! Shifting between 2nd & 3rd happend a fair amount on a big course, but 2-3 shifts are easy to deal with, and with the gearing of that size tire in 2nd you can really fly out of tight turns. I can't imagine it's anything other than heaven to drive a well setup DSP RS on those things!

Does that wheel company still exist? It says their site hasn't been updated since 2004.
