42Autosports.com has been updated with information about the intake, including dyno tests on another RS (with flashed ECU/Stock ECU comparisons)

The left image link for the dyno graphs is broken, but you can replace "flashed" with "stock" to get it. I can't wait to see pricing...

Jay,

I actually want to test one on the L, I assume you are running stand-alone EM, if so, are you still using a MAF sensor? Shoot me an email if you'd like, maybe we can work something out: [email protected]

As an extra bonus for those hard-core racers, we have an option that gives a couple of extra bumps in the torque (I think racerjon called them 'torque implants' lol.....) We'll have more info about that later in the week.

I would love to see your car and my car on the same dyno and compare. Just got a retune done with the new motor.

I'll send you an email....but you should stay off the boat and bring one to Lincoln!

No more MAF for me.....onboard MAP. I need to source a new-style torquebox first. Time to go junkyard shopping......

When you say new-style torquebox, do you mean like the '06-'07 2.5i? If so, you're on the right track possibly, but wait until you see the dyno chart for the difference in those and the old big boxes.

Looks like we **Might** have a 2.2L test car lined up for sometime around Labor Day Weeekend - Know that doesn't do much for those of you at nationals. If anyone really wants to find out sooner, and have one in place for nationals, you're welcome to email me.

Bump for the 42 Autosports intake!

The ST RS shown on 42 Autosports' website is mine I cannot speak enough about the night and day difference between this intake and anything else out there on the market. The huge step up in low end torgue makes the car feel like a whole different car, and pulling out of a corner takes on a whole new meaning. The numbers speak for themselves, and it is easily noticed. You guys will not be disappointed.

^^^^Lobbying the codriver to email Pleiades and pick one up now......

It may need a new thread on it's own, but any plans for MAF based models?

There was some testing done on a 06 2.5i model, which uses the new MAF style, so I could not comment right off about adapting a plate for the old style.

Good luck at Nats by the way!

Jay,

There will be a MAF intake available, in fact we have a prototype on a '06 2.5i right now, which of course is slightly different, but does have the MAF.

Just a note to report that thi intake friggin WORKS!

I've got much more wheelspin on launching and better corner exits........ Yeah, it's pricy, but worth it IMHO......

I got a call today, Gilbert placed 3rd at Nationals and was leading on the first day? Ben Martinez is NC, he's been talking up and down all summer about how he's gonna win in the Merkur.

How'd Pat and Jay do?

As yes, you are referencing the sololive page.

Notice how several competitors don't have a 3rd run shown yet? That's because the sololive page wasn't updated. Gilbert finished 3rd, after alex had a quick 3rd run in the E30.

Carry on.
