I know I never really asked about it, not having a car in the competition anymore.

What it means is:

93-01 Impreza ALL of them, in DSP.

then the later year's 2.5 Imprezas are also in DSP.

So - we got the ability to put the GC/GM 2.5 drivetrain in the lighter L chassis, but later 2.5 body styles are on a different line.

Hmmph... in retrospect, yeah, that makes sense. I definitely didn't read it that way when it was published, but I think I only noticed that it was different from their proposed rule.

That is what the Nov. Fastrack said, but the 2013 solo rulebook still says:

Subaru
Impreza (non-RS) (1993-2001)
Impreza (2.5L) (NOC)

If they meant (ALL), they would have written that, right?

Yea, racerjon, you are mistaken. That is what the fastrack proposed, but it instead brought FSP imprezas (non-rs) up unchanged and put all rs's on the same line. Thus, nothing changed but instead punished fsp imprezas

It's a typo then.

I wrote multiple letters for that, worked with the SPAC during the thing, giving them dyno numbers, weights - had letters of support written by other DSP and FSP Subaru owners.

The intent and fastrack was for 93-01 Impreza (all) in DSP. 2013 rulebook has it must be a typo.

If you want, send along all the info you have and Ill speak with Doug Gill and the SPAC about it.
