This is incorrect. ATR did indeed have this feature on the Subaru version. It wasn't documented anywhere (for obvious reasons) but it was active.

Maybe that is what he has implying by saying "active option" (no marketing by COBB)

You can try http://www.iwsti.com/forums/4265559-post9.html I don't think it will work for you though. They are locked by ap ver. And serial I think. I was able to get one for a 2013 sti to install with my v3 but it's useless as I can flash maps because the serial is different. If you are I'm a hurry you might want to go look at tratrix and romraider. As it stands now I think cobb will be removing the ability to delete codes permanently with the new version. That's what it's sounding like from all the rumors anyways.

We don't know. This has been asked dozens of times in this thread and there has been no formal response from Cobb. It's wait and see.

Speaking of radio silence from Cobb, didn't they say ATR was going to be out by the end of last week?

They did indeed. I'm tired of asking, it will get here when it gets here. I'm already screwed, season is over in Canada so if it comes today or next spring it makes no difference to me now.

Any guesstimate where they place customers on their business model? I venture that it's not at the top.

The whole thing is rather unfortunate. Definitely sucks to have to pay for functionality that I already had months ago. I'd almost be okay if the $150 course covered a wide range of introductory tuning topics. If it only covers emissions related topics, I'd be a bit upset....

I stopped caring awhile back as this is just pathetic at this point. I can do what I need to do with my car at the current point. If Cobb makes it difficult, I move on to a better product. I don't have much patience to proprietary crap that locks me into something.

My prediction about seeing snow before ATR is out again... It was 34F at my house this morning.

I'm not sure where that is coming from. You are aware that ATR was pulled for ALL the Cobb platforms, not just Subaru, right?

I thought for the rs you could either buy the accessport for 500. Or accessport + tunner race for 650.

Suby guys already payed 650

When ATR could still be downloaded, it was free for the Subaru platform, every other platform had to pay for it. GT-R owners got hit the hardest at $700 for the software on top of paying over $1000 for the AP.

Sorry for the delay guys, we've been finalizing the last few items. Accesstuner is available again starting today! Read the details on our blog, also includes links to everything you need: http://www.cobbtuning.com/subaru-acc...now-available/

If you come across any bugs with the process, please shoot us an email ([email protected]) or call (866-922-3059).

Is there additional costs? What is going to be covered in this course? I've been tuning for at least 12 years.

Once the course is done, can I then request ATR for other vehicles?

$150 for the training. Basic EFI 101, platform specific training by Tim Bailey, and testing about those items. You can email support about other vehicles you own, but you can't request for other vehicles you don't own.

Disregard... I just saw the $150 price tag and 4 hours of wasted time. I'M OUT.

Sounds like a Monopoly. I will be moving on from Cobb. My customers aren't going to want to pay an additional $150 and spend 4 hours on the computer for me to tune them.

If you're a professional tuner, you can use our Pro version of the software for your business use. Accesstuner is for the hobbyist level guys.

I have 2 concurrent federal government careers and do not own or am not involved with a shop. I can just have people buy something else to get the job done without the hassle. I'm not going to pay Cobb monthly when I may not tune more than a car some months.
