Columbus OH area shops
Didn’t get any response in the chapter section so asking here on main forums.
Looking for a reputable shop in the Columbus, OH area. Any recommendations out there or places to avoid? ‘17 sti engine rebuild would be the name of the game here. Many thanks to all for any advice you can provide.

Deuce's Wild Automotive - it's a drive from Columbus but they're incredibly affordable. Since TiC burned me out and lied to me about work my car needed, I only take my car to Deuce's

I take my car to Brayden at Repairs Unlimited in Lancaster. He's usually very swamped, but he's close and I've been generally happy with everything so far. He's more of a garage rather than speed shop, but he does a ton of Subaru stuff, though doesn't necessarily advertise as such.

Coming back to this post. I've been having an issue with everyone in Ohio I've found and used being just meh. Brayden is always too busy to respond or sees that it's me and ignores me (I hope that's a joke). Another Subaru dealership tech, I really like, but I think he's strapped by agreements.
I reached out to Redline in the Cleveland area, and while they are very responsive, I've asked for a quote to just buy parts multiple times in the same chain of messages, and still hadn't gotten it after like 2 months. I just want a shop that doesn't take advantage of me, is responsive, and does a good job. I don't mind paying more if they're actually good at what they do. I don't like hacks or empty promises. |
