For those wrx owners without a tuner, when you are running rich does it say "RICH", or "Rich" or "rich"?? Also does it ever say "Lean" or anything like that? I cannot remember, its been too long. The quicker I get the answer to this the quicker I can program compatability into my program for you.

Jeff

Update: Version 1.4 is now out. Please everybody download this and use. It is quite larger than the previous versions for obvious reasons. If you encounter an error, it will tell you what module had the problem. If you get one please pm me what the message box says and what you were doing when it popped up.

NON-Tuner owners: Please try out this version! I made some provisions for you so please give it a shot! Only use Logger-1 Mode though, if you try dashboard mode it wont work at all.

Thanks and everybody enjoy!

Jeff

ps - you need macromedia flash installed to use this version!

Yes, under logger #1 it says "rich" and "lean", both lower-case. I believe this is true for all 5 logger positions...

Jeff, for the log lines I err on the side of caution and just remove all whitespace and convert everything to lowercase so if TXS decides to change its mind on things it will never change from my perspective. You use VB right? So this should be pretty easy. I don't have reference for VB out but its something like Trim and ToLower.

I am using mps logger as it is an interface between my lc-1 and the utec but would like to try your program out if it works the same way. I have a usb to serial connection for both the utec and the lc-1 and they log in the same file through the mps logger. Does your utec interface handle the wideband in the same way cause I think your gui is pretty sweet and logs in a nice fashion

I dont have access to an LC-1 so I dont know how to code for it. If somebody in the jacksonville area had one then I could code for it. If it is possible to sync up with it in hyperterminal, then someone who has one can capture text, then connect to it and save the stuff it does for at least a couple seconds.

Ok, i updated the program to look for "rich" and "lean". If you are running without a tuner, you need to re-download it from my site. Otherwise dont bother.

I haven't loaded 1.4 yet but I'll post the 1.3 error now that i've had some time to reproduce it sitting still (set TPS to 1, boost to -9 etc... to make it easy) and it's still fresh in my mind.

2 things. 1. The logs recorded are all empty. 2, The white screen that pops up is the pull log. (or perhaps the report) I hunt for the close button and it goes away. No errors, but no saved data either. The info section is reading everything though. Pull Report brigns up a properly layed out window, but again, no data in it.

I'll have 1.4 installed right after I get home or the next time I find an open wireless internet connection.

Hmmm interesting. I'll take a look at that. Does it make the log files at all? Are they empty or do they simply not exist at all? Does the autolog popup window show nothing but it still pops up?

They all exist. 1 kb each. And each has a unique.txt name... Just empty.

The window is a white, empty window that's just a little smaller than the "info" screen when it's open. It pretty well covers the screen.

anyone want to share their myAFRTable.csv? I'll take a stab at creating a STI/vf39 one.

OK. 1.4 in now. New colors! Still no logs or reports. It creates the file but leaves it empty. Errors that came up after meeting the autolog conditions:

Error in ALT_Timer Object required.

Error in Autolog Monitor. which popped up several times in a row.

Ok thanks 2phless, that will help me a lot in determining where the error is. It seems to only happen with STI's so far I guess.

So what do you all think of the new look in 1.4?

2phless, i bet you have your fast-logging set to "During Pulls" dont you? I just found an error. It is calling to disable the fastlogger timer control, but I didnt reference which window it was in so it was looking locally in the autologger window, and of course it didnt find it so it has that "Object required" error. Ok that one is now getting taken care of.

The same code typo was in the AutoLogMonitor code, so I took care it that as well. This should be good to go now! New release later today...

Just found out that I never coded in the condition that checks to see if you even want to autolog or not, it would just autolog 24/7 anyways. +1 for me!

Here is a good add-on. How about something audible/visible that happends when preset conditions are met. like too much boost or a combo of timing/Injector pulse. Should be a couple of if/then statements.

I have actually thought of this but I have not had time to implement it yet. You will definitely see it in a future version.

Maybe I misspoke. The error was that no data was being logged. I will test out 1.5 a little later.
