Default EWG What To Get?

I'm looking for a EWG option for my 05 on my stock vf39. Does anyone have any experience with one that work pretty much bolt right up with the stock location? I'm looking to do this due to an existing Boost Creep Issue as well as to have it for a future Turbo upgrade.

You can either port the hole a little bigger or get it tuned to prevent boost creep. UR, Helix and TXS have ewg uppipes for stock mount turbos.

No, you can't get it tuned to prevent boost creep. I don't understand how this is going on. Boost creep is a MECHANICAL ISSUE; it cannot be cured by tuning. Element Tuning and Slowboy also make EWG uppipes.

Somehow my tuner managed to get it fixed.... because I was creeping like crazy up to 1.5 bar before tuning... then to .13-4 bar and stay there... no changes in boost until it starts to taper down... no issues... I'm guessing my car was street-tuned in the cold, he was able to adjust it. Most of the "tuning" people get is done inside on a dyno, so they wouldn't tune it to be "fixed" to the cold weather/boost creep conditions

I do live in michigan (gets cold) and do have full catless exhaust

Ultimate racing seems to be the best made Uppipe for EWG. If you hold it next to any of the other ones, you will see why.

can someone post some links to a few of these products.....? Thanks

I am well aware that boost creep cannot be tuned out, I am also well aware that you can port the IWG however If I wanted to do that I would not have opened this thread....

Also I'm looking for some kinda package.....EWG w/UP Something probably around 500-700 is what I'm going to be looking to pay.....

You can meet that price range easy. People are often selling Up pipes and a Tial 38mm WG and dump tube for around the 500 range.

UR kit with a 38mm here, good quality made a little power. Boost control is good but i need an ebc or mbc. For some reason it's 100***37; smooth yet. I have leaking issues with the 2 bolt flange, but i think lots of people do.

Not necessarily...most EWG setups clear most downpipes. Check with your vendor to be 100***37; sure that yours will clear w/ your setup.

I believe the only DP that doesnt' work is the TXS because of the 4" bellmouth. I have the TXS DP with the UR upipe and 38mm Tial but had to do some fabricating ( denting the crap out of the side of the DP ).

Thanks for all the input guys.....Weird thing is that I just installed my AP v2.0 this weekend.....(you have to just love cobb for that) Anyways I have no boost creep anymore (at least none that I can notice) and no fuel cut and I'm running a full TBE and CAI.....Car runs great and runs much smoother than it did....Anyways I still plan on going with the EWG due to this will help the Turbo upgrade down the road....Right now I'm looking at the SBR UP w/tial 38mm WG....With that said anyone have any ideas on what EWG with the HKS downpipe?????
