![]() He Drives an S2000? Definitely need more information. Also could be to annoy the neighbors. Scare away bears or other large animals. I can see lots of reasons to drive at 5000 rpm all the time.
Kidding aside, it all depends on your car and motor. I think the power band sits high on an STI so to get any power you might have to be sitting up there. Others can speak better, I would think if you don't want to be on power band, you can trundle around at much lower rpm. My car is a WRX but since i am just running around town my car has not been over 3000 rpm in almost two weeks. I will take it out for a fun drive though maybe on the weekend. I can run around town all day between 1500 and 3000 rpm just trying to not get noticed and where I need to go. Last edited by cbk57; 03-04-2021 at 01:20 PM. |
