Where to buy body kit gasket/rubber/seal?
I bought a rear lip for my WRX that unfortunately came with a torn up rubber gasket that helps fill the gap between the lip and the bumper cover. My bodyshop guy had no ideas on where to buy some new gasket, anyone got any ideas?
Thanks, Paul

You can't even get these through Subaru. I bought an EDM rear lip for my wagon and had to get it repainted. The bums at the paint shop took the gasket off. I searched high and low but could not find a part number. I spoke to some guy at a dealership in Canada, who does offer a rear lip for the wagon, and he did not have a part number for the rubber seal. He did, however, get all the part numbers for the hardware I needed for the install. He even faxed me over the installation directions. I decided to install the rear lip without the rubber seal, and it worked out fine. It doesn't rub the rear bumper, nor does it stick out much. If you looked at it, you wouldn't know that you needed that rubber seal. Good luck!

Mike: Yeah, that's pretty much what all my searching turned up. Mine definitely needs a gasket, it won't be tight in a couple spots. Thanks. |
