If you just go on with your life...it'll all be ok. As more and more people by these cars, not everyone is part of the community and knows the wave.

don't sweat it man. i waved to this one silver WRX in Jacksonville near the beach and the dude took a long ass time to wave back. i'm just sitting ther waving frantically, and the guy's looking at me and then he finally waves back. he had a new 04 just like mine so i figured he'd see the resemblence and wave back. i guess he wasn't really used to waving too much.

What is really bad is when you wave at a fellow owner and they look at you real funny then they pull up and ask "whats wrong"
and then you say "nothing is wrong, I was just being friendly because we both have Subarus" (WRX, Forester, so on) and then they say "oh, your car is a Subaru?" It is sad they can't even tell you are driving the exact same car they are but in a different color. This has happened. WTH is wrong with these people?

Was there a white one with him? We (crazymike13 & I) encountered a black and white on Friday night on 280. They waved, though... It is SOOOOO attack of the wagons around here - it's crazy.

What she said! Besides you live out in the counrty here in 'Bama you get waved at a lot by everyone. The cops don't even turn around and ticket you.

And yes Wagon's rule.

We already discussed why nobody waves at your Legacy...they think you're either some old guy or a Lesbian. Those folks don't know the code.

Well maybe I'm both!

Oh in the legacy its annoying when nobody waves, but when I'm in the RX.... I mean how could they not realize it's their car's grandfather!
