Kaos is right... a reflash will "clean the slate" and allow the utmost tweekage of the motor.

That being said... my reflash of the JDM ECU I have will probably yield 360+whp with the mods I have. The tuner said that he will 'up my boost' to 21psi. Yaaaay

what tuner did you or are going with the reflash the jdm ecu? im curious to see who can do this, by far my tuner Cobb, does not do JDM ecu's i cant say for utec, ecutek though..... i'd like to know, cause im considering this route as well.....

My mechanic that did my swap is licensed to do ecutek reflashes. They are in Tacoma and there is a tuner in Portland who has tons of experience tuning JDM ECUs. They are at www.PDXtuning.com

Yeah, they are awesome. They do their dyno runs/tuning 20minutes from my house and I frequent their sessions. The expertise is unmatch within hundreds of miles.

Kreeger, if you don't mind me asking, how was your mechanics pricing for the swap? Was it more or less than I-speed (+/- $2500 labor plus parts)? How is the quality? Looks great by the way (saw it in an RS25 thread that I started).
