Default EGR Delete - Electrical Problems

Gents,

I have a 2018 WRX base model with the 6 speed transmission.

I had the car apart for a few weeks doing the following things:

1. TGV delete
2. EGR delete
3. Grimmspeed top mounted intercooler
4. Grimmspeed chargepipe

I finished up yesterday and drove her around a bit. Here's what I saw:
check engine light
ABS light
Vehicle dynamics control light
cruise control doesn't work!
heater doesn't work!

The check engine light was expected, but the others worry me, especially the last two.

Any thoughts? I plan to get an e-tune this week. Maybe that will fix everything . . .

Thanks,

bwWRX123

Some CEL's will disable things to force you to get it fixed.
Get the codes and post them here.

There are five codes. Three refer to the EGR Solenoids, and two refer to TGV Position.

Please post the codes, not a basic description. Specific codes can have specific resolutions, or, they can be related to other codes.

So did I read your first post correctly? You’re not tuned for the mods yet?

That's right. No tune yet for the TGV/EGR mods.

Hopefully all those codes will go away with the first map from the tuner.

I think I need to bleed the coolant system to get the heater working, so I'm not to worried about that anymore.

You and someone else told me that perhaps the ABS light, cruise control problem, etc., are tied to the TGV/EGR codes. So, hopefully those problems will go away with the first map from the tuner.

Okay, all problems solved.

When I put the base map on, all the warning lights and the cruise control problem went away.

Thanks for your help everybody.
