What kind of boost? Looks like a lot with that torque spike. Awesome power for stage 2

Doug comes down to tune @ Lutz Performance several times a year; look out for the next time he comes down there.

I think 22 is about at the efficiency maximum for a 52 isn't it? Which tp map are you running? A modified stage 3? Iv seen 16 psi maps make great power, they just don't have the huge torque spike

No reports of this - the newer WRX/STis actually have a pretty good EBCS from the factory that helps with the boost control.

Sure, we could always run more boost - you get to a certain point though where running more boost won't necessarily make a difference in power.

22psi is just your peak number. This relates to peak torque, but really has nothing to do with peak power when you're on a stock turbo. The VF's always seem to taper down to about 15-16psi by redline.

no doubt. thats my peak psi. it just seems higher than alot of other tunes ive seen for a vf52 and vf48 turbo at stage 2 and stage 3 levels. was just curious. never had any issues with the tune besides overboosting that was adjusted and is fine since.

Your buddy has the same motor as the 2013 in this thread. All dynos are different and the tune factors in as well.
