Weird Electrical Problems - 2018 WRX
Hi Guys,
A few weeks ago my Base 2018 WRX started having really strange issues. 1. My Key FOBs stopped working, both of them 2. My Radio Will not turn on 3. The Multi Function Display resets every time you turn the car on 4. The Auto Down on the Windows does not work I do have an aftermarket radio installed, it has been installed over over 9 months, no problems until now. I also installed an AMP 4 months ago, its been working great, i removed it from the battery just to test, but the issues still exist. Im not able to get an appointment at the dealership until Oct. 1, I was hoping someone here may have some things i can try myself before then

Just a guess on my part.
If you lost battery power recently (drained it, disconnected, blew a fuse), sounds like some reprogramming needs to be done. First, meter ALL fuses, fix as needed. Follow owners manual (or online info) and do some user reprogramming. I am leaning towards a cleared fuse. No, looking sucks, meter them. |

turns out it was just a bad fuse, its call the "memory" fuse, 20a, number 8, under hood.
