Default 08 WRX Stage 2, 214 whp 250 tq (Mustang Dyno)

I had my car dynoed yesterday:

214.2 whp @ 6250
249.8 tq @ 3000

This is on a Mustang dyno. Mods:

- SPT cat-back
- Perrin CAI
- Perrin catted DP
- Perrin Stage 2 tune for CAI / ACN 91 California CrapGas(tm)

If you figure the Mustang is 10-15% low compared to a Dynojet, I'd say it's right where Perrin's own dyno numbers say it should be, which is 230-240 whp.

I'm tentatively scheduled to re-dyno on Thursday, because after yesterday's test, I had a VF52 and Perrin TMIC installed, with a Clark Turner tune.

I'm giving the turbo time to break in and the ECU time to get used to the new tune. The car pulls freakin' HARD now, holy cow.

What stage do they call it now? 4?

How did you make out on the dyno with the VF52?

In short... the dyno run itself wasn't so great... 265 whp and 275 tq. The dyno operator refuses to open the hood to get enough air to the IC, because it wouldn't be "real world conditions." But my tuner could tell from the dyno graph that it was pulling timing, when it never had before according to my AP logs. So he figured I was down about 20 hp from where it should have been. He's since sent me another updated tune that corrected a low-RPM rich condition.

So with his 20 hp estimate, that puts me at 285 whp, which on a Dynojet should be around 315 whp. Anything over 300 and I'm pretty happy, though I'm picking up my header tomorrow and should have my fuel system in place in another month or so.

The car is running GREAT now and runs like a raped ape. There's more info in a thread I started over on 3GWRX in the Turbos section.
