pretty sure i'm seeing valve float above 6.5k on my EJ253. i haven't seen any aftermarket springs. would like to get some, slap them in and rev it to 8k. power is just done going flat at 6.5k when i see the float. gearing is such that i'd still see more tq at the wheels if it starts dropping at 6k and took it out to 7500. i have the big oil pump so why not?

sooo. know of any springs for EJ253 heads?! I call on the collective!
this is pretty much where i'm at:

been thinking the only way to make the GF really fun NA is to make it RWD with a ver8 sti r180(i have a 3.9FD 5 speed trans)

can switch back to AWD for winter too then. it'd be like sheks M3 but with twice as many struts and less 2-300 lbs..
i cant find any current info on this. i could weld up a used center diff and remove the front axles and do axle stubs on the front hubs. as i'm stub axles anyway, but that's more work than just swappign a purpose made spool with no splines for the front. anybody?

ok you find me a $500 clutchpack diff for R160..
that's what i thought. the diff is far more important than the "awd" with two open diffs and one sloppy viscous. dont need the beef of R180 but it cant' hurt. and if i dont need to change diffs then all the better. WRX viscous is sloppy and sucks and if i'm changing trans, i'm going to 6 spd anyway. and then i'd end up turboing it. so thats liek 5-7k right there. naw. wanna keep this cheap.

I do road tuning. How much boost do you want to run? If it's below 20psi then take it elsewhere.

I'm signing up with Grimmspeed in order to be able to offer some of the parts to customers including gaskets, ebcs's, AOS's, wastegate brackets, etc. If anyone would like to take part in this first order please let me know and I'll get you great pricing on anything you'd like. The main reason I signed up with GS, is b/c I'll be using their thermostats in a cooling kit group buy that will include: either of the Moore Cool coolant products, high pressure STi rad cap and GS thermostat. I'll update you with more info when this is going to happen.

Also, I have an ACT Streetlite flywheel off of a 2.0 liter motor that I just bought that is in excellent condition if anyone is interested. New they retail for around $235.......I'm looking to get $140 for it and it'll be freshly cut and ready to install! That's all for now!

Currently my turbo is putting out 22psi on stock map. I have a catless exhaust coming for my vf37 so just need minor tune

I put together a list last night. If I did return to stock I'd probably be looking for trades on a few things. Injectors, stock turbo inlet and a few other items that could be unbolted easily. I might just put up the car with a price as is. There is about $7k in parts plus the JDM lip and gauges I need to figure out what they'd be worth vs. selling the car as is.

Does your mobile provider's over the air updates basically brick your phone.

DROID X DOES!!! or should I say VERIZON DOES.

So pissed right now! Verizon is trying to make it right by sending me a new phone overnight. Unfortunately, they sent it signature required (which they didn't do when they sent me my original phone) and I missed the delivery. Going now to pick it up so I don't miss it again tomorrow.

Does anyone have an EJ205 shortblock in good condition that they would be willing to sell?

My old roommate has a white 2004 WRX with 88k miles on it that is in near perfect condition but it has rod knock and probably needs a new shortblock. The only mods it has are a catless uppipe, downpipe and an AccessPort. If anyone is interested in the car, it's for sale as well but right now he's seeing if he can repair it first and sell it.
