Yes. I had to the lower the steering wheel as far as I could on my '13 to engage the high beams but could no longer take the wheel rubbing against my leg so decided to switch to a dash pod.

Just finished installing mine... Few things ya might wanna know.

The T fitting that comes with the boost gauge DOES NOT FIT. If you are using zipties, that is super sketchy. There was so much play in it I don't know how anyone could use zip ties. Also, I used worm clamps instead of zip ties.

-I bought a t fitting assortment bag from advance auto parts and used a T out of there. I have an extra one because it came with 2. I plan on giving it to my buddy when he does his. The previous size in this thread is inaccurate.

-Also, why is everyone cutting their line? Go get another one from autozone/advance/etc. and use that so you can revert back to stock if needed. They are like five dollars.

-You need 20 amp fuse taps if you plan on using fuse taps. One of the taps will be 15amp + 3amp.

-You should really be using yellow teflon tape, not white for the oil pressure sensor.

-When running through the fender wall, you DO NOT need to remove the wheel... Just turn it a little to the left

-I used RED 3, ORANGE 4, WHITE 16. I grounded behind the deadped. This lit up the first time.

-If you try to rush through the install, you're gonna have a bad time

I found one in there that was the perfect size... This is for the DEFI gauges though... although the tube size shouldn't matter :/

so much easier to go through the fender there is a rubber grommet there you poke a hole in and feed the wires though

maybe this isnt the best place to ask. about the Defi oil pressure sensor

isnt the Defi thread 1/8 NPT
where stock is 1/8 BSPT

these are not the same. are you just shoving the NPT threads into the BSPT hole with some teflon and saying "meh, close enough" ??

I'm thinking about remote mounting the sensor with a short SS line with the appropriate adapters on each end.

thoughts?

Default Repost Please

In the middle of the same project (SMY Cluster and Delfi Red Racer gauges. Looking for a little help with routing the wires out of the SMY Cluster as well as which fuses to use to wire gauges.
Can you re-post pictures or can someone help?
Thanks

Did anyone experience a cel after installing boost gauge? Soon after I installed I got P0451 evap emission pressure sensor range. I saw a service manual that says check for vacuum leaks. Wondering if tapping the vacuum line on bov could have resulted in small leak and tripped cel.

Hey all, so after a lot of hunting, typing, editing, etc I found most of the pictures from O.C.D.'s install. I have everything saved in PDF format. I don't post a lot on here so a quick way to post the PDF would be great (currently rules say I, "may not post attachments" =/), like I said probably because I never post and mostly just read. Sorry I couldn't find all the pictures, but I made a valiant effort at it. I'm betting I need to be more active on here to post attachments?

Edit: I took his install steps and paired up the pictures accordingly as best I could.

Did you end up finding pictures of this, mainly looking at the fuse tap setup and where things are hooked up.

Good tips. Just did this and was going to use this thread as a guide only to see the pics gone. They also make T fittings that allow you to cut off ends until you get to the size you need. Basically, an adjustable fitting. Thats what I ended up using. Bought some line as well so I didn't have to cut anything.

I just don't know what size fuse to protect the gauges. I think I threw 10a fuses in each fuse piggyback.
