Default Advice please

Hi, I'm new here and in six weeks, I will be leaving Germany to live in Med Hat, Alberta for a couple of years. My car, (MY02 Bugeye) is crossing the Atlantic as we speak and am after some advice. It's currently de-catted and has had a Tek-3 remap to Shell Optimax, 100 ron fuel. Do you have an equivalent to this?
Any help is appreciated.................

Ontane is measured a little differently in North America. Europe uses the RON rating, North America uses (RON+ MON)/2 . Generally a European 100 Octane should be equivalent to a North American 95 Octane. Not so sure you can find 95, but 94 is readily available through most of Canada.

The rule of thumb is to multiply ron by .95 to figure out North American rating. Therefore 100 ron is like our 95, which sadly does not exist in Alberta. Most stations only have 91 octane in Alberta.

There you go...Albertans know Alberta fuel.
Sucks about the 91. Any stations have 93/ 94 there?
Chevron has 94 out here on the coast.
I was going to drive out to Edmonton soon.

A select few Husky locations in Alberta have E94 Oct (10% ethanol). However, if you're in the Hat you'll be stuck with 91 Oct so you'll probably need a reflash.

In BC and Ontario 94 Oct is readily available, but not in the rest of the country.
