Default Burr, I hate North Dakota

This whole last week I was working in Bismarck North Dakota. I work outside, hanging cable lines. I hated it, I was so damn cold all week, we got 3 inches of snow..... Damn, I'm sooo glad to be out of there.

I lived in grand forks for 4 years. -30F is not uncommon, ND is as close to hell on earth as you'll find anywhere. Not just because of the winter, but the people... the peeeeeeeeeople.

After the flood of 97 I decided that the cold and floods were enough for me to move back down to Texas. I never lived in ND but lived in Crookston. And gratuated from Crookston too. I am so not a fan of the northern weather.

holy old thread.

But seriously 21°F? I wish it were that warm in the mornings when I have to walk about a 1/4-1/2 mile from my car to work.

What kind of cold temperature is that? Aren't you a frozen Finnish transpant? I've seen saunas colder than 17.

I got no problem with that kind of weather. I love it, actually. It's just funny how the town shut down for a day in that kind of weather. Sleet covered the roads and these folks were like "what do I do here?" Seriously, cold weather here starts at 60. That's t-shirt and shorts weather for me.

Funny thing, I grew up in Florida, and I can't tell you how many times I've seen folks wearing those thick poofy jackets in 50 and 60 degree weather. I couldn't help but laugh.

Interestingly, I hate going to a sauna that's less than 80 degrees celsius(172). Less than that and it's a waste of my time. My parents have a sauna at their place and I'm always the last to go, 'cuz I crank it up to 90(194 F).

Yup, you're right. Bottom left. No, no wait, that's not him. He'd still be clutching the bottle, despite being passed out.
