I see no need for all this abrasiveness. I merely shared something public somewhere else and let you know I did. If bashing the outsider brings a feeling of comradery for guys, that's good. It does not help persuade quality people to attend this meet.

I do apologize for not introducing myself, though I've never seen such an expectation from a public forum.
My name is Greg and I have an 11 protuned stage 2+ swp wrx hatch (old build thread is on here somewhere )

Either way, you may resume your regularly scheduled bashing of the new guy and cursing via keyboard if it makes you feel good and tough. Or we could move on to what matters...

Anyway...I just got set a jdms on the cheap but they are missing some parts...so I'm not even sure if subaru sells these parts as they are part of a complete headlight assembly, plus they are jdm, plus they are 10 years old.

Okay, one more post and I will graciously excuse myself. Sorry, but I have to share this...
Let me start by saying that I've posted almost 20 meets, all from from other states, and got nothing but "thanks for spreading the word", "clean site", "thanks, bro", etc. So I show my wife (born and raised in Bergen County) the utter beatdown I got for posting just ONE Jersey meet, of fellow subie owners no less, to modmeets.

Her words - "Heh. They sound like my friends. Stay out of Jersey."

LMFAO

Well she's right NJ isn't the friendliest of places in the states..

But I think your demeanor just set some people off. Good luck with the site.

And Jake, JDM!

Eh I just think the logic of posting this meet on another site without ever being to the meet is sketch. Idk how people around the countryblikes it but I think most of us would like a heads up before

That's fair, I guess. My bad. I wouldn't say it's sketch, considering it's public and all, but I know what ya mean.

Nah***8230; saw you post about your opinionated wife and "LMFAO", so I assumed you were just some entitled prick.

Dude we don't know you, doubt we will ever see you, so drop the tough guy act.

Everyone who posts in this thread has at one point or another introduced themselves and showed face.

You want a hand job as a thanks? Did any of us truly give a **** what happens? Has the meet been fine for 2 years without your help? Your join date doesn't mean ****.

Why don't you go to the Westchester thread and pull the same ****, then see what happens.

Yup. Everyone from NJ are orange, garbage wearing, angry mother****ers…

…you would know. You married one of us, right?

Oh man, I hope he either unsubscribes from the thread or I get more work. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.

Its just common courtesy. Just as if someone were to take a pic of your car and post it on their website. Sure its nice but its just common courtesy to let the owner know or for his/her permission

Anyone see Avengers?

Me want to see avenngers sooo bad. I hear it lives up to its hype, unlike the hunger games, which I thought was good anyways.

Okay, this is a no win situation for me. Any fool can recognize that. It's all good. Even if one of my friends started something by being rude or whatever, and the 'outsider' merely defended himself, I would probably have my boy's back anyway. I get it.

Just recognize that all I was trying to do was share some info. It all went south after a few of you started throwing out insults to make yourself look cool in front of the group or whatever. For the record, I never once acted like a "tough guy." That's just nonsense....hell, I'm 6' and weigh 160 soaking wet. Smartass, maybe, but only when it was provoked by someone else. Need I recap every name I've been called on here?

Either way, take care, and I sincerely apologize for taking the bait from a few wise asses on here. Most of you seem mature and well-mannered.

ps - People post my **** all the time without asking me. I'm perfectly fine with it. Here's the latest example, where he even put my business card in his video! - http://youtu.be/iiSt-FmhY5A

wow you're so cool bro.

if you came in here said hey guys i posted in here, explained what the forum was, it would be different. but you post a link, and then when we call you out you get all defensive, totally not acting like a doucher

none of us give a **** if you posted it, or if you keep commenting in here, you're missing the whole point, but if you wanna keep going, a lot of us have time to kill.

btw, you're lucky for having e85 around

See? "you're so cool bro"? What the f*** prompted that? Seriously, wow.

My apologies. I was in a hurry when I posted just the link. It was not meant to be a hit and run. The home page explains exactly what the site is for.

So you know what everyone gives a **** about? That must be pretty cool. :-P

Yes, it is nice to have a few E85 stations within 20 or so miles from me. More should pop up over time, so hang in there. You gotta watch out for the quality of some of them though. I heard of some folks getting nastiness in their lines and injectors. I want to ditch the AP and go with hydramist (Element Tuning), but giving up the AP and the ability to switch maps on the fly is tough.

Fresh start…?

Not sure yet, but I'm going to try to see Avengers tomorrow morning. Then watching it again with a couple of friends in NYC.
