Did you happen to measure the ring gaps on the other pistons?

No,
They replaced the whole shortblock, they said they were curious and pulled the piston because it was blowing air out of everywhere when they did the leakdown.
It was a 2010 wrx 115k no mods at all besides a cobb tune.

Thats an expensive paper weight LoL.

If they replaced the engine for you under warranty/classaction settelment then thats great! Congrats!

It looks like he changed his shift knob too. Cobb tunes are pretty safe subaru motors just suck at life sometimes.
