Default Mishimoto Radiator Fitment Problem

After installing the Mishimoto radiator the stock fan in the passenger side is unable to fit with the process west charge pipe. My thoughts are to replace this passenger side fan with a 10in slim mount Mishimoto fan which is thinner than 2.5 inches. However being that this fan is smaller I was interested on getting input if I should also upgrade the driver side to maybe a better larger fan. Also any slim fans anyone is aware of that is efficient/reliable.

I only have 2.5inches of clearance.

Is there a reason/purpose to changing the radiator from stock?

Its a track car but sees the hills on weekends, pushes 400whp and it stays cool mostly because of the oil cooler but just wanted that extra for the track. So far I have ordered two SPAL fans both 12 inches but one low profile and other medium profile as I have more room to work with on the driver side.

I have the GS tmic right now but this is my daily and I had qualms about having to lose the crash-bar to make a good fmic fit.

If this is a dedicated track car, then you should go with your gut, I think it's a no brainier.

This is why I stick with a stock charge pipe.

FMIC kits likely all will have a similar issue. PRL more or less confirmed it by saying on the stock set up is is very tight to the fans.

Id keep as much of the stock set up as possible, they are good fans and shrouding.

Mishi slim are known to be bad.

Spal makes good stuff

Iíve seen someone shave the interfering fan support down a lot to add clearance.
