Subaru Stars My 2004 WRX Engine Bay!! Come look, critique, comment!

Hi guys! I've hard my car for nearly a year and a half now, and I finally feel like my engine bay is in a state I can show off, at least a little. It's not sparkling clean and the car is my daily so please forgive me for it not being perfect, but its so much better than when I first got it!

Feel free to comment, criticize or make suggestions!

Here's the original:

And here are some shots of the car today:

I love the look of the hand machined MAF block off plate I made

It's all in the details, like the paint matched hood support -

and the paint matched radiator stays and coolant hardline:

Personally, if you want to be about the details, replace or refinish the upper coolant tank, and all of the corroded hardware on your A/C lines and the intake manifold. I see rust before I see paint colors matching.

Definitely on the right track!

As snobordboi mentioned, your coolant tank sticks out badly. As does the battery tie-down hooks and some other rusty nuts and clamps.

Most of that hardware stuff from Subaru is quite inexpensive. Nothing like brand new, oem hardward to freshen up your engine bay!

I'll second or third this.
