Almost swapped racks on my STi, but there was something that was stopping me. Circa 2005ish. Can’t remember exactly, but I think it was a reliability thing or an availability thing. The options back then were limited. Dang that was a long time ago.
I’ve been waiting for a new STI for a long time.

Really. Because the 13:1 on my Impreza is as quick as I think practical on the street... great in the twistys, but with the SDL even imperceptible steering wheel movements change direction, and I love the precision. But a 10.5:1 must require super concentration on the highway.

Never had an issue highway driving, it felt natural to me after getting used to it
