Default Port and Polish?

Anyone know of a good place to get a turbo ported and polished in the Richmond area?

This is not something you just trust to some local shop... FYI.

Contact Blouch, or whoever built your turbo, and see what they can do about "expedited" service.

I had my oem headers gasket matched and polished by ballos machine shop in Glen allen.

They did a great job, and the price was quite reasonable.

Agree. Don't think there's a good place to get this done in RVA...been here for awhile.

Ballos is a great shop, we use them for our cylinder head rebuilds but I don't think they will do turbo porting. You really need to find a specialty shop and send it off.

I know GrimmSpeed has recently started offering this service but I have absolutely zero experience with them in that regard. Maybe check with Pure Turbos out in CA as well, they're a great shop that knows their stuff.

Too bad Crucial Racing isn't around anymore. They had a FANTASTIC porting service.

Do you need a tune if you get the wastegate ported to cure boost creep?

Appreciate the input but I'll probably end up going with some nasioc vendor. I think I remember seeing a few with decent prices.
