Default Best tire patch kit for S-03's?

So I mounted my S-03's up in April of last year and ran all summer w/o any probs or holes.

In the fall I picked up 2 small screws, one in each of my front tires.
This is one of them:

Picked them up right on the center, solid tread band on each tire.

These 2 have managed to mostly seal completely back up and have held 30psi all winter (not on the car).

A third tire picked up a slightly larger screw that I didn't know about until the screw head had completely worn off (Also on the center tread band).

I checked pressures last week and that tire had 10psi left in it.
I pulled the screw out and it was the same diameter as the other screws, but it was in longer (all winter) and it doesn't look like the tire will try and reseal (Tire will currently not hold air).

I've talked to a few people and they said that if I plug it, the plug will heat up faster than the tire and come out.

I only have 10kmi on the tires and would like to keep them.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-- Dave

You sure the first two tires are punctured all the way through? If the screws are short enough, they may not have gone all the way and you may not need a plug. They held air through winter points to the fact that they may not have been punctured.
On the third tire (which is definitely leaking), you can put a patch with a plug to patch it. To do this the tire has to come off the rim and patch applied from the inside.

The first two, when sprayed with soapy water, will very slowly form a bubble, but it takes about a full min for the bubble to become visible.

Any recommended places for me to take the tire to so that it gets patched right? I know that NTB just crams a plug in it from the outside. I have never seen them take a tire off to patch it.

I may have to go back to radial tire.

Dunno what you have down in VA, I have taken tires to various places and ask them to take them off to plug and patch them. It may cost more but I know tire patched right this way will be safer than just using a plug.
And they are radial tires. There are not many tires that are not radial these days.

Believe it or not...Bridgestone's site doesn't even say.

I bought them all at Radial Tire (great local company here, one tier below Tire Rack) so I'll take them back there and get them fixed up for free.

It's not like I can't just drop them off =)

It was worse when I only had one set of wheels, I keep forgetting I can just drop them off now =P
