Default $5k for stock rebuild?

Got quoted 5-6k for rebuilding a stock 07 STI 2.5.
This includes new short block from Subaru. Rebuilding of heads. New oil pump, cooler, gaskets, etc. no tune or anything.

Does that sound reasonable?
No additional performance parts or anything added.

It's a fair price. Make sure you ask about warranty for parts and labor.

That sounds very reasonable to me. (I've had an EJ205 rebuilt similarly, all OEM parts for about the same price)

I got quoted the same today for an OEM rebuild, about 5,500. This did not include a new SB tho...
