Default Odd question. Does your STI make you feel like you are in control?

I have the legacy gt and I got tired of (too slow for me). So I am working on mods now.

I see an STI pop up on and off. Do you feel in control? What about if you other cars like porsches, ferraris, around you, how do you feel about that?

Thanks!

uhhhh... what?

I think being in control on the road has more to do with the driver than the car.

If you give a guy a corolla he wouldn't be in control of the road no matter how hard he tries, get my idea?

I once thought about adopting a highway like the signs say so I could be in control of the road then, but I don't think it works like that.

Um i don't know about Ferrari or anything like those but the feedback on my STi is amazing. If you mean in control of the road as in I don't let it tell me what to do, then yes I feel like I can conquer any road type/road hazard with relative ease, whether rainy, rocky, or uneven terrain. My friends that drive more conventional sports cars (not AWD) think I'm crazy for "flying" down some of the roads that their cars would flip half way through.

I don't like to think I "control" the road tho because that is definitely not true. The road will always be where it is planted into the earth and my STi does not have that luxury. AKA trees > car no matter how well performing the car is.

ive had 2 porsches mess with me on the road thinking they were just going to blow my doors off, but i stay right there next to them and they always turn in the first street they can. Them=. Allot of those cars underestimate the sti and even the wrx.

Your question is not only odd, it also doesn’t make any sense and is so poorly written I can barley understand what you mean.

Being in control of your car comes down to a few things:

Suspension
Tires
Brakes
Weight distribution
*Person behind the wheel

You can take any car (for the most part) and make it feel more or less in control. Sure an STI might feel more in control but with a few mods your LGT could feel the same way.

EDIT: I hope you didnt join just today to ask such a poor question...

Being in charge is all about your demeanor. I've owned the road since I was rolling on my first Huffy.

But to answer your question seriously: I feel like the demeanor of the driver determines whether or not they feel "in control" of the road. On a daily basis I see Saturn and Kia owners who feel that they are the one "in charge" of the road, delusional as they may be. Basically, He who has the balls has the road. If you are really asking "do you kick but at stoplight racing?" I would have a different answer for that

i think the OP means this, when driving an STi do you feel like you are a better driver then you really are? do you feel like you can take a said turn faster then normal?

thats my guess..but i disagree, what ever car you drive you should learn its limits at the track, that makes every car better on the streets imo. but if you wanna be 2fast2furious go for it

Seriously please move on from insulting my car. It just doesn't do anything apart from exposing your severe lack of wit and intellect.

I also have to ask, someone who lives in the US of the A, do they put stupid in the water where this choad lives?

Look... You seem to be a nice guy. Apologize for your first post, and you are forgiven.
