they fit fine, no work needed. The offset is high if you want to run wide tires but they're great with 225/40R18 or 235/40R18

still will not fit...need 10 mm spacers in the back to clear the struts.
Either that or throw on 25mm bolt on spacers all around for a safe and reasonably better way to make them fit. 25mm spacers don't require stud removal or trimming of the stock studs. FYI...I have a full set of 25mm spacers for sale...=) kics 25mm bolt on spacers used for 3 days...haha. |

This is bad information. They fit without spacers. 18x8.5" +55 clears the strut.

They do not fit KW coilovers as the OP stated he has. They do fit with stock struts, but the 2nd person asked for a 5x100…so you need to get the hub conversion spacers. Read before responding please…. Kics makes a 15mm hub conversion spacer...and Ichiban makes a 25mm conversion spacer. |

Yea there are a number of different manufacturers for the wheel spacer/hub adapters out there. I believe 15mm is the smallest they make. I'd love to do this one day, but it is a lot of money to drop at one time to find out they dont work. Good info in this thread nonetheless.

15mm hub conversion spacers involve cutting the stock bolts.
Sorry if K&W coilovers are so much wider than stock struts. |

OP,
I just picked up a set of the 08 STI BBS in the size you mentioned and stuck them on the wife's 07 STI. They fit and DO NOT touch on stock suspension. At full lock over uneven road, they slightly rub, but other than when I was doing a u-turn after putting them on to see if they rubbed, she's had no rubbing issuses since. THis is with the 245/40 Sport Cups that they came with. They look really really nice as well. |

08 STI BBS on 07 STI.
It's the wife's car, so I got no say on tires or anything. We found these fairly cheap, and she didn't want different tires or anything. She's a cheapass.
They look really good though, and fit well. Enjoy! Even the wife was pleased with how the pictures came out. I had to DRAG her kicking and screaming to go out and take these, but she was pleased when she got there! |

I would argue they only rub at all because the tire is too tall. if you got a reasonable tire height instead of using the stock 08 STi tires, you'd have zero issues.
And the k&w coils must be pretty wide to have clearance issues with 8.5" of width at +55. That's only 8mm closer than the stock wheel even ignoring the tire. 235/45R17 is a common tire choice for the factory STi wheels which is 5mm wider and a little taller. I am surprised somebody makes a set that thick. |

stock STI shocks along with WRX shocks for that matter will allow the 08-10 STI BBS wheels to fit. It just doesn't fit with the KW coilovers.

Yeah, I love New Cut Road. And a few out near BWI.
Thanks for the feedback. It was a cost-effective way for the wife to "spruce up" the looks of her car. I really like how it turned out. |
