Default Basic Beginner Coilover questions

Ok I just got some megan racing coilovers and i have a few questions i have searched and have had no luck so i had to start a new thread
1. Do i have to get an allignment after everytime i change the height? i want to install them now on stock wheels but i will be putting 18's on very soon which woud be bigger so i want to make the drop fit around the 18's not the stock wheels that way i have clearance.
2. How hard is it to spin the entire shock body to lower the car i tried w/ the coilover held down by my brother and i couldn't move it.

also should the camber plates line up side to side or front to back?
like should be be like l l or _- (if looking from the front, and i know thats a bad illustration but just bear w/ it haha)

1> yes your alignment will change every time you adjust ride height ( camber and toe)
2> i have megan coilovers on my car and its very easy to adjust the height

3> The camber plates should line up side to side so you can move the struts towards/away from intercooler

Yes, loosen the lower perch and spin the whole shock body to raise or lower car.
