Were debating on what tires we should run.

1) Toyo
2) Hoosiers
3) Hankook

DOT means the tire is DOT approved but an R compound. Dr3W glad your as excited as we are. So what tire would you choose for our WRX?

In my opinion, you need to do an 05+ hub/knuckle swap. Dont mess around with the crappy 04 STi front wheel bearings. Also, your wheel choices are going to be a lot better, and significantly cheaper when you get into your wider options. Trust me, the improvement in braking at the track will also be noticeable.

Hi guys and gals, I'll be piloting this future beast. Thanks in advance for everyone's input and helping on convincing THM to put in the best goods to make this car fly.

A little more detail on the turbo, we have a HTA 35R, .82 A/R with an 44mm ewg. I've been happy with the HTA spool and response, so we didn't get into a plan for a twin scroll setup. Not sure how it will breathe with the new engine, we might try a 1.06A/R housing.

Just thought I would drop in to say hi and introduce myself on here. My name is Mo and I am going to be one of the drivers for TH Motorsports Time Attack car. I am really excited to work with them. I have done a lot of racing and TH Motorsports is a real great group of guys to work with. I have driven raced a lot of cars and karts, but this will be my first gig in a WRX so I am very excited to work with TH Motorsports and Suburu.

Thank you again TH Motorsports for considering me in campaigning your car this season. I think Andrei and myself will do very well in the car.

I myself have a 2004 STi and I am building a time trial car to compete in NASA-SE in 2011, once I get my competition license. It is a great car to work with, except the wheel bearing they go out fast. Especially since my car is 6 years old and has never seen the track. So on Dec 6th 2009 on my 2nd day at Road ATL, on my cool down lap my wheel bearings went out. So there a pain to install it cost 7hrs in labor and $90 and some change for parts per wheel I think. Anyways Bart Miller at Rev-Tech racing suggested that I convert to the 2005 Sti wheel hub so that when the bearings go out it doesn't cost as much. But I can't afford that since I am only a SSgt in the Air Force, so when they go out I will have them changed. Also get and APR GTC-300 or 500 wing instead of the one in the pic. GOOD LUCK!

Press Release
Another Sponsor Acquired - Stance USA!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - February 16, 2010

Glenview, IL - We are proud to announce that Stance USA is an official sponsor for THM Racing's Subaru STi in the Modified Class of Redline Time Attack. Stance USA has quickly started to gain reputable credibility as a footwork company and has grown tremendous popularity among enthusiasts. This partnership is a match made in heaven as Stance has been a strong re-selling brand for TH Motorsports. This deal will only enhance the bond of the 2 entities and the efforts of TH Motorsports will help aid in the increase of sales for the Stance brand.
Stance USA will be providing their top-of-the-line system for the THM Racing STi - the GR+ 3-Way. This coilover will be the perfect setup as THM Racing will be able to dial in the STi according to track conditions. The adjustability that features on the GR+ will allow THM Racing to adjust compression and rebound on the monotube dampers which will ultimately be able to be fine tuned. The ride height adjustments are also adjustable so THM Racing will be able to get the proper corner balance to not only further enhance the handling, but as well as weight distribution to further enhance the braking bias. The external reservoir shows that this suspension system means business and is ready for full on competition use. The external reservoir is connected to the damper using specially designed fitting to allow adjustments making it convenient for many purposes. THM Racing is excited to review the handling characteristics of what the GR+ offers on the track!

Hey guys we picked up this baby for getting the STi around! We did a quick photoshop. We are planning on doing a full wrap. We would love to see some design ideas from some of the NASIOC community.

Default Check our new "shoes" for the Time Attack car! Big thanks to Dave @ Forgeline!

BIG UPDATE! Forgeline Motorsports has signed on to sponsor our 2004 WRX STi Time Attack car. Our STi will be equipped with Forgeline's EV3R, from their Competition Series, we will run 18 x 10.5.

We haven't chosen what finish/color we want yet. So feel free to throw out some suggestions. Forgeline can re-produce any color! Their wheels are completely custom. Your wish is their command.

Here is the official announcement, and a pic!
