my ex gf used to have a cat that would f with my head every night when I slept. It would end up balled up by my head and just start clawing at my hair like it was a piece of yarn it was playing with.

Another illustration depicting how cats really don't love their "owners". Actually, cats have no concept of "love".

Get a dog.

I have two cats that would change your mind in a hurry. And I'm a dog person.

One of our cats sometimes sleeps lying across my wife's neck at night. Since she has gotten older though, she has moved from my wife's neck to the pillow above my wife's head.

Another of our cats has this tendency to wake me up by licking me on the nose. It was early on with this one that I learned where the alien myths come from. When you're nearsighted and woken up at 3am by a cat sitting on your chest, purring, with his face right up in yours.... all of a sudden it looks JUST like the big eyed alien drawings you always see on TV!

You probably had a crappy cat. Cats are like women... sometimes you get bitchy self-centered ones, and sometimes you get sweet loving ones. You have to know how to choose.

This 'toon reminds me of my life x3. I have to get up around 5am to feed them or they just drive me nuts, licking my head, face and running around on my bed until I get up.
