Default Trunk leak

I have a Seibon carbon fiber trunk and it had a spoiler on it but I took it off. I put plugs in the holes and sealed them with silicone. The trunk is still leaking pretty bad. Does anyone else have an issue with this on their carbon fiber or even stock trunk? I'm getting kinda frustrated with it...

Also does anyone have an issue with the trunk latching? I have to slam it hard 5 or 6 times for it to shut.....

I just found my other post on this that I put in one of the other forums. If anyone else also has some advise on how to fix this leak. It seems that it is on the right side of the trunk by the bumber/latch area... Don't know is this helps anyone narrow it down any. :/
